inflated heart

My father is 62 years old and last year the doctors has diagnosed about his inflated heart.Hhe started his medicines and controlled diet..everything without spice and full rest at home as the doctor told him....but he had a tremendous weight loss and low pressure for last few months....what should he do at this position if I can get the suggestion......

Weight loss with low blood pressure is not a good sign.  How low is the blood pressure?  Is he having trouble eating and has he lost his appetite.  When the heart gets worse, the person can become sick to their stomach from eating food and sometimes without eating food.  Usually, they can only eat fruit or vegetables and do not care to eat anything else.  This is a sign of the heart getting weaker.  His doctor should be aware of this.
