injection fraction and blood disease

My son-in-law is 43 yrs old and has been told his injection fraction is 15-it was 47 two months ago. He has also been told he has some kind of blood disease-that number is 18-for a normal person it should be 10- for a person that has had a heart attack it will be around 14. he had a mild heart attack in 2005. the dr wants to do a biospy on his stomach first to see if they can figure out what kind of blood disease he has. if that comes up negative they will then do one on his heart.

My question is how serious is all of this? And i guess what i'm really asking is does anyone know the life expectecy?

no he has not been diagonised with a block nor has a stint been put in

A cardiac ejection fraction (I assume this is what you mean) of 15% is substantially impaired.

There is absolutely no way of determining life expectancy.
