Hi Good question.Well according to Dr Ornish and his Ornish diet it is!.
I'm on this diet now and its hard.Its just like a Vegan diet with less than 10% Saturated fat.Lots of veg and fruit with complex carbs.no meat at all,not even fish.:o(
(told you its hard)...but still its the only diet that has been tested on trials and researched well.look it up on the net.(baked beans on brown bread for me)(the low salt and sugar kind again for dinner...oh well...if it helps.......cheers!and good luck.
