I have been doctoring for several years, I can feel my heart beating, not racing but beating hard, especially at night.  I don't feel well most of the time, weak and somewhat sick to my stomach.  Every test comes back normal; but I just don't feel good, fatigue, stomach aches, chsest discomfort.  My Dr has prescribed Toprol, says I have excessive adrenaline in my system.  I have taken Toprol for 3 days now, and it makes me feel worse, sick to my stomach, chest discomfort, sleep trouble!!!  Will my body just take a while to get used to this drug?

Why do you take the toprol ? For what? You said all tests are normal. Do you have a high blood pressure? I never heared that only because adrenalin in your system you need Toprol. People have adrenalin overload under stress. You must be under lots of stress. Diet? Exercise? Are you weight challenged? What do you mean you have been doctoring? Yes Toprol as all Beta Blockers is hard on the system for a while; my question is if you needed it at all, because as you said the entire tests are good.
