just a little confused

just a little confused

Hi, I had an echo done about 1 month ago and the results were normal all but the lv.  lvdd 5.7cm, systolic 3.5, all walls were 1.2cm or less.  ef 55%.  all other chambers were normal.  The results read, normal ventricular punction, trivial mitral and pulmonic valve regutitaion, and no vavular stenosis.  I had normal bp when I would check it, but stress would send it up, I have since been put on toprol and have been excersing regular.  I have not seen a bp above 120/80.  I was just curious how significant the size of the chamber is.

Medic58,

Chamber size "normality" varies from lab to lab, but at our echo lab, these dimensions would not raise red flags in an otherwise healthy person.

Hope that helps.
