i`m tired & fatigued every morning after taking plavix ,how long should this continue before seeing a doctor?
If you are taking Plavix, I'm betting you are also taking other drugs, such as beta blockers (Atenolol, Coreg, and many more). Beta blockers can cause fatigue. Is that a possibility?
I never had fatigue when I was on plavix for year after a DES implant. Although fatigue is a known side effect from plavix, it could also be due to other causes that could be serious if not treated.
To answer your question directly the general opinion of the medical community is 1 year on plavix and aspirin due to the small risk of clots developing with DES implants. You should see your doctor, and if fatgue has lasted awhile it doesn't make sense to continue waiting for relief.
