thank you for your advice..=).i want to take the pill form because it is so much easier.plus i never try topical medication so i'm not sure about the effectiveness.however, for you info i have use griseofulvin, but this medicine it not so effective to solve my problem, that why i'm considering to use the ketoconazole again.since you said that there is no limiting for it use to no more than 2 year.i think i will start on ketoconazole pretty soon.

I don't find any information about limiting its use to no more than every 2 years. It is a strong medication. There are other antifungals on the market. And do you need to take a pill form? Have you discussed using a topical medication for the skin problem? I'm sure some would still be absorbed but probably less than when you take the pill and it circulates through your whole body. We use this med at work but rarely, just for cases of Aspergillosis, a fungal infection of the lungs. The best bet is to discuss this with your doctor. Ask about the risks, ask about options.
