hi, I had left arm before and it turned out I strained my muscle, I went to my cardiologist cause I think the worst. My cardiologist told me  if I had shortness of breath, and chestpains then worry. If you are concerned call make appointment so your mind will be eased. best wishes!!!!

Definitely mention it to your doctor but it could be a pinched nerve or something in your neck.  I have had shooting pains in both arms before and found out that I had pinched nerves in my neck causing it.
