life after second heart attack and stent

I feel I am walking on egg shells. What can I do if I do get angry but do not want to cause any more stress?
This is a second heart attack and a second stent in the same spot. Some complications during surgery but now is on the mend.
Any suggestions? I'm the girlfriend.

Stents can restenose or even thrombose (clot).  As far as restenosis is concerned, assuming that the stent was drug eluting, there really isn't anything that can be done except to hope that the doctor put a different type of stent (cypher vs taxus vs xience) in the stenosed stent.  As far as thrombosis goes, it is extremely important that therapy with asa and plavix is continued indefinitely.  In addition to the above, it is important to stay on statins and ace inhibitors because these are the only oral drugs that have been proven to prevent restenosis.  Stress elimination is very important.  You will have to internalize things a bit and try to resolve your problems without causing too much conflict.
