My mother, who is 74, has a blood pressure of 115/60 and a pulse rate of 90.
Are these readings normal or do they indicate a weak heart or other
problem?  Would moderate aerobic exercise be helpful?  She currently is not
  on any medication.
Thank you very much for any advice you can provide.
  Sincerely,

Dear Agnes,
Although it's impossible to evaluate the condition of your mother's heart without a thorough history and physical examination, I can reassure you that the blood pressure and heart rate that you mention are completely normal. These values do not suggest any heart disease or problem with blood pressure control.  In fact, 115/90 mmHg is normal, not "low".  Heart rates from 60 to 100 beats per minute are also
quite physiologic (i.e. normal) in adults.
Moderate aerobic exercise, preferably after consultation with her physician, is always advisable.  I wish your mother continued  good health.
