malnutrition and the heart

My daughter has just been diagnosed with cardimyopathy and possible cardiac cachexia.  She had been on a fentanyl patch for pain and other pain meds. prior to the patch.  She has lost 55 lbs. in the last 10 months.  Could this have been caused by the fentanyl patch and the MD's neglect.

i am on day 13 detoxing from the fentanyl patch and i have major medical problems and i live in pain. the fentanyl patch is horrible and hell to get off of it. its half life is 17 hours which is double the amount of herion and other opiates. her body and brain will keeppbecoming dependant on it more and more. i gained wait on it, i don't think its causing her weight loss. drugs like fentanyl should only be for patients that are going to die. it is a nasty drug. i am trying alternative treatments to help thre pain. such as pain blocks, radio frequentcy....works great for up 6mons, and the pain pacemaker which is awesome....i am trying to get one free b/c my insurance doesn't cover it. ive been through many doctors and specialist. get more opinions. im 29 and still need my mothers help with my disability and pain. i know it is hard for u. god bless and i will pray for u and your daughter!!
