I use to take Plavic   after my bypass graft for my legs... I do not have insurance any longer so therefore stop taking the medicine. What can I replace it with that is over the counter .

Plavix is an anti-platelet medication that helps prevent blood clots.  You can take aspirin for the same effect.  The mechanism that prevents clotting is different between the two, but aspirin is very effective and taken by most cardiovascular individuals subsequent to an operation.
