A lot of people experience the feeling of his/her heart skipping a beat from time to time.  These are most often categorized as premature atrial or ventricular contractions.  Unfortunately, there is not one cure-all for these contractions.  If you are looking for a remedy, try keeping a diary of what you eat and when you feel the symptoms.  Maybe you can link types of food that cause them.

Good luck!

It is not unusual for a heart to skip a beat occasionally.  Very common and probably happens to the majority of people.

Thanks for the question, and if you have any followup questions, you are welcome to respond. Take care
