Scarlet fever that followed with arm spasms/leg spasms tingling/burning feet.
My left arm has never been the same...I have a lump left in my armpit/they
biopsied it and it was a reactive lymph node/fatty pad...I notice since the
virus my left arm tightens like the circulation is cut off..also alcohol...one drink causes tightening too..My big fear...10 months ago I
woke up with my stomach pumping so heavily my arms and legs were pumping too....I followed that week with several episodes of this as soon as I tried to lay down and go to sleep...then I developed muscle twitches all over for several months...I permenantly have the sensation of low level
shakes/tremors through my whole body...could this be related to the heart
problem that I have....also my face feels numb or tingling since these
problems.......I've had several lyme tests....all negative...I did test postitive for parvo virus 3 years ago. Your thoughts!!!!

Dear Peggy,
None of the symptoms you describe are likely due to the mitral regurgitation. I am not sure of what is the cause of your complaints but I would suggest following up with a good Internal Medicine doctor who can evaluate your symptoms and give you recommendations.
