more ablation questions for momto3

hello. i finally saw my ep after a terrible case of strep throat. wow! its so much worse when you get it as an adult. anyway, apparently my pvc's are coming from the left side and this makes my ablation a lot more complicated. my ep doesnt want to do it, although he believes it should be done before i get pregnant. i am being sent to a "guru" of electrophysiology and has apparently done a lot of pvc ablations. were your pvc's coming from the left side? the ablation needs to be done bc they are all saying that my pvc's could cause cardiomyothapy and that is something they dont want to deal with while i am pregnant. didnt you make it thru pregnancy with pvc's? this i all so frustrating, my first pregnancy was  breeze and this is becoming so complicated. if they do an ablation and it makes my pvc's worse thats going to be it for me getting pregnant, right?? just would like your thoughts on my situation. hope all is well with you and yours. - betsy

Sorry, all my arrhy's are on the right side. I did go through 3 pregnancies with my tachy and premature beats. My ob doc wasn't very happy when I got pregnant the 3rd time but I did it any way. I don't know much about left sided arrhythmias. You have some great questions. Can you write them down and ask your doctor? I know when I get into the doc's office all the questions fly out of my mind. The only thing I'm thinking is "I want to go home."
