my 11 year oldson has chest pain and says that his chest " POPS "

My 11 year old son has had chest pain episodes and at this time he says that his chest  "POPS" and it hurts for about a minute then goes away and then it happens again same way, same thing .  I am very scared and worried about this.  My mother died of a massive heart attack at 54 yrs old and she said that she had heard a " POP" that morning she later died that night .  Then I didnt realize anything but now my son saying this scares me so much.  Can someone please tell me if they have heard of this, saw, or know anything about it PLEASE Thank you

Have you taken your son to a cardiologist and asked him to give your son a stress test. This test sometimes shows up things that a x-ray or ekg will not
