Even my BP is high,,, but not so high as yours. Today's reading was 160/95 and my doctor put me on atenenol 50mg. YOu should ask a doc to put you on a pressure tablet. How are you feeling these days? Stress could also bring in pressure levels to rise

You should be able to control your high blood pressure with medication.  It's not clear why the hospital will not provide medical therapy!  It is important that you get medical attention!

High blood pressure makes your heart work harder and, over time, can damage blood vessels throughout your body. If the blood vessels in your kidneys are damaged, they may stop removing wastes and extra fluid from your body. The extra fluid in your blood vessels may then raise blood pressure even more. It's a dangerous cycle.  There may not be any symptoms with high blood pressure

Also, your heart has to work harder with the extra fluid in your blood and the high resistance the heart has to pump against causing a heart problem.
