my wife's bypass surgery

my wife's bypass surgery

my wife [69] had bypass [ 3 grafts ] surgery on oct 5th 2010 & discharged on 13th After 1 week of discharge cough & constipation follwed after few days later blood started oozing from central part of the chest [suchers part ] Again after few more days pus also follwed, pain in the chest also developed On 17th of nov took her back to the operated hospital. Now dressing is being done Blood & puss contrled Hb percentage low Respiratory bone week Recovery becoming slow.. What is ur advice on this.

There appears to be infection, and that sometimes is the result of wiring the chest wall together.  All that can be done is dress the infected area, watch, and take antibiotics especially if there is a fever.

They need to ensure no infection is getting into bone tissue, because certain bacteria can be a nightmare to get rid of. There are still (thankfully) certain antibiotics which can fight such infections. They should take a swab of the infection and give it to a microbiologist, who can determine the correct antibiotics to administer for a quick recovery.
