need help understanding my results a lil worried

                                    spec'm 10/07/09
Troponin-I: Troponin interpretive guidelines
=0.50 ng/ml: suggestive of myocardial
injury consistent with ami

          this is writin on my blood work and im not sure if its good or bad wat should i do pls any help any insight wat should i do i didnt go for this to er but they checked it i was there for dizziness.. but i do get chest pain fast heart rate have monitor on at present time.. thank you for any insight

It sounds that you may have had an event. Most hospitals would usually admit and observe for any further rises in either troponin I, CK or CK-MB. If you passed out this could have been an atypical symptom of coronary artery disease. I would recommend that you see a cardiologist in the near future.

It would probably help the doctors to know that you were already at the hospital visiting a patient when you passed out due to being dizzy upon leaving. Your friends took you down to the ER and they checked you out and did this blood test and discharged you without any follow up information. Also, you have a history of an ablation due to a rapid heart rate.

These details should help him provide you a better answer.
