new at all this...need help

Of recent I was referred to a cardiologist because the tryglyseride was 1240.The D-Dimer and Homocysteine P are elevated.I have had thus far 1) Myocardial profusin Imaging study :Impression mild anteroseptal inferior hypokenesis, EF 54%, Breast Attenuation, F/U rec.  2)Echocardiogram, Conclusion, Echo showing trace MR, trace TR, abnormal IVAd-4.81,LVPWd-1.56,IVSs-1.29, LVIDs-2.51, LVPWs 1.69 3) Cerebrovascular Duplex: Interpretation, 1) Abnormal carotid duplex ultrasound, extreme tortuous vessel, difficult to visualize distal and mid vessel right sided stenosis, CTA carotids rec. for furthur eval, with presence of bruit it is difficult to estimate stenosis. 2) ICA-right sided-atherosclerotic disease, tortuous vessel, turbulent flow, mild disease, difficult to estimate stenosis. Side-atherosclerotic disease, tortuous vessel, no definite hemodynamically significant stenosis. 3) ECA-bilateral antegrade flow. 4) vertebral vessel-bilateral antegrade flow. 5) Likely no hemodynamically significant stenosis in carotid system with tortuous vessel, F/U rec.


Ok .....I do not understand any of this and have tried to find explanations online to no avail. is there anybody who could break this down to layman's terms?  Any help or referall to a site that may help me understand this will be appreciated, Thank you.

Take all of your reports, go see your GP, and say explain to me so I can understand. I'm a nurse who has gone from workingin an Ivy League teaching hospital to Bush Alaska and patients abilities to understand varies a lot, and has nothing to do with intellecual  ability.  Trust me we forget and sometimes we speak a different language and need to be reminded. If the providers doesn't want to explain the reports you need a new doc.
