non-hypertensive lvh

Hi I am a 55 y/o female with no known history of hypertension, no known cardiac history.  I developed sob and chest tightness about a month ago, went to the cardiologist, ekg showed inverted t waves, had a cardiac cath, cardiac mri echocardiogram w contrast all showed lvh, no lesions scars or infarct with diffuse patterns of slight myocardium enhancement. Ejection fraction during my mri last tuesday, was 54.1%  I have elevated eosinophiles and hypothyroidism, (which I am just now being seen by an endocrinologist for), newly found on labs in Sept at my physical, which incidently showed a normal ekg.  I had titanium dental inplants (3) put in right before this all started.  Could this be related?  In any case hematology is still waiting for labs to come back to confirm or not the eosinophilia.  What else can I do?  Does anyone specialize in this?
Thanks, Catherine

You may have a rare cause of cardiomyopathy caused loffler's syndrome, in which eosinophils infiltrate part of the heart and cause restrictive diastolic function. There are also other causes of eosinoplhilia, such as Addison's disease, parasite infestations, or even rare bone marrow tumors which can cause this elevation. They may also be elevated in people with asthma and other reactive airway disorders. So this finding is often transient and not related to the symptoms you are experiencing, although in rare cases it can be  related to an undiagnosed malignancy. Is your cancer screening ( mamogram (mammogram), colonoscopy and PAP smear) up to date.
