not sure if this can affect my heart

i just had my cholesterol checked.i think everything came out ok except for my HDL, "good," cholesterol it is low in 2009 it was 42 they told me it was low..this year 2010 it went down to 34 i went on line and read (For women, HDL levels under 50 mg/dL or 1.3 mmol/L increase the risk of heart disease) .
(Having a low HDL level by itself is a risk factor for developing heart disease. That means even if your LDL and other risk factors are normal, having a low HDL level still increases your risk of heart disease). so i would like to know. rite now i just have svt had heart ablation. taking digoxin increased from 125 to 250 going for another cath in 2 weeks i would like to know if this is making my heart worse and what i could do.
