nuclear stress test

by cathypan, Jun 17, 2008 10:44AM
I am supposed to take a nuclear stress test, plus ultra sound of my left side.  They said, "it would take about 4 hrs."
It said, cardiolite stress test, and then they have other, Adenosene.  Is that a drug that they are going to test me with also?  I am allergic to a lot of medicines, could any of these have side effects?

Adenosine is the radioactive tracer that they inject into your artery for the nuclear stress test. This link explains the test very well:

Good luck!
