numbness in my hands and legs after sleep

I have had a problem with my hands and legs going numb at night.  I low blood pressure that runs 100/60 on average, but has been known to drop to 80/40, especially when I am pregnant. During this time, I tend to get spots in my eyes and feel pressure in my head. The symptoms are worse when I am lower.  I don't have any other health issues that I am aware of.  I have always been told it was just how I slept.  Now as I have gotten older (started at around 23 yrs. old-now 35), I have put on 25 pounds that stayed on after my last pregnancy and the symptoms are worse.  I have read all sorts of things about what it could be, but none really fit.  Usually, they look at heart and stress, carpal tunnel, nerves.  The only other thing I do have a problem with is low blood sugar, usually during pregnancy, it becomes severe and difficult to control.  Otherwise, I have no other problems with my health.  I am very active, and I am interested in what others think.

I am on Atenolol, a bata blocker.  My hand have been going to sleep while I'm sleeping and last night my leg went to sleep also.  I was wondering if the Atenolol had anything to do with it.
