operation of valve due to shrinkness is possible or not?

hello, my mother is suffering from valve problem since 7 years i.e due to the shrinkness in valve, now doctors are saying that there is need of valve pumping, is it possible? if it is possible that how many %  of success chances, i.e some people are saying that there is no any possiblity of valve pumping. plz help me and give me possible suggestions

Hi there.

The "shrinkness" in valve is known as stenosis.  Do you know what valve is stenotic?  Cardiologist monitor these valves and at some stage she will need valve replacement surgery for a stenotic valve.

Sorry, but I have not heard of valve pumbing before.
