i was recently diagnosed with pericarditis after exhibiting the classic symptoms...for several years i have had occasional spells where a hard pressure would hit my head and i would fall down...i would not pass out...there was no pain...it would last only seconds... an mri of my head revealed nothing...could these spells be related to the pericarditis?

Dear Bobbye,

It would be unlikely that this is related to pericarditits.  You should have this evaluated by your physician.
