pace maker leads

  dear sir thank you for all you information i read them all in 1996 i got my frist pace maker the doctor said i  have 3 leads 2 doing nothing 1 works with each heart beat but i am wondering about the 2 doing nothing do they need to be removed the surgeon forgot to tell me about the extra wires thank you very much bobbie

I am not sure why you have the extra leads but they do no harm and it is probably best to leave them in unless there is a reason to remove them.
