A pacemaker will NOT prevent a heart attack!  All it does is keep the heart rate from being too low; a heart attack has to do with blockages in the coronary arteries and is a totally different thing.  The pacemaker is for an electrical problem, not a plumbing problem.

Pacemaker won't cover the severe heart attack.  Once the vessel rupture, pacemaker in this situation is useless.  Am I right?

I hope your dad is recovering and feeling well!

This would depend on why he was given the pacemaker.. Has he had a previous heart attack?? If you are concerned this is definatly something you should talk to his physician about.
