My Grandmother is in the hospital and was told she has to have a pacemaker before they will do dialysisDialysis Kidney diet - dialysis patients anymore on her. She was suppose to have surgery this morning but the paper work was not filed. They sent he to dialysisDialysis Kidney diet - dialysis patients anyway and scheduled her to have the pacemaker put in this afternoon. Isn't that a bit much for the same day. Her health is REALLY going down hill and I don't think it's a good idea. What's one more day in the hospital and wait until tomorrow to put the pacemaker in.
Dialysis is tiring. Insertion of a pacemaker isn't too bad since it's done under light sedation. But I do wonder why the big rush. Is her heart that sluggish that she would have been in danger to wait another 12-24 hours? Let us know how she does. It shouldn't take long.
