pain on left side of chest

I've been having a mild pain on my left side of my chest close to my left arm. One night it felt like my heart tightenup and then my left arm went numb and my pinky and ring finger felt like they went to sleep . Arm feels better now but I'm still having small pains on my chest that come and go. The last time I went to see th DR back in  Nov 2008 all my cholesterol tests game back good. I have been under alot stress lately though. I dn't want to go see the Dr for two reasons. Dn't have insurance and dn't want to go just for them to tell me everything checks out alright.Has anybody have the same pain and just vanished or did it get worse?

I feel always sorry for you my friends in USA. Because you so much victims of that Health Insurance system. Shame. Here in Canada we have all free. I just hope and wish your health system will be also free one day!
Well until? Take deep breaths, (must do every morning preferably outside) and think that way:”nothing upsets me absolutely nothing.” Easier to say then do, I know. Still you must work with what you get, you are Much Stronger then you think you are! We all are! We must see the difficulties as they are not important as they are just a temporary situation. Always think:”better days to come.”Positive thinking is the key .And LOVE. Love yourself. Love those loving you. Hope that helps and hopes all symptoms you are having  only stress related. But if the miled pain comes back or worst pain you must go to a free Clinic if there any around.  No doctor should refuse  people because they can’t pay.
