I had a black out in recovery too. I went tachycardic and fainted. I woke up 6 hours later feeling ok. I know why I blacked out, and maybe it is the same reason for you. When they were stenting me, the catheter punctured the artery, causing a small bleed. It was stented to assist quick healing but the bleed caused the tachycardia. With regards to your pain, it could be that you have developed scar tissue in the stented area. I would insist on another angiogram to be sure. This time, ask them to check the artery using FFR, a small sensor on the catheter which tells the cardiologist the flow rate. Sometimes problems are too small for the naked eye to see.
