Hello,

You are aweful young to be going through this. It is difficult to say if we could help.  Obviously we would like to try.  Without knowing all the details, it is difficult to know what else can be done.  You may benefit from working up increased clotting tendencies to investigate why your grafts closed.  If you decide to come, try to bring all your medical records including angiograms of your legs and operative reports.

I hope this helps.  Thanks for posting.

My son is 21 years old.  Firlst blood clot in his leg at 19.  No reason any doc can pinpoint.  He now has his 4th on Aug. 4, 2007....his third was only Jan. 29, 2007 where had had surgery and they opened up his artery and cleaned it out and put a graft on it.  Took 4 months for it to heal.  Now it is all clotted again and he is facing bypass surgery.  Changed doctors and hospitals and are hoping for the best.  Get lots of differnt opions.  Hard to know what to do.  Good luck to you!
