A medication will NOT cause the same degree of skin reaction in all individuals.
Certain medications can cause a physical reaction which is known as photosensitivity. The consequences can range from itchiness to an uncomfortable rash, UV burns, or in extreme cases, death.
The underlying cause can be those sensitve to thiazide. The list, you should be aware of the following:
THIAZIDE DIURETICS ("water pills")
Bendroflumethiazide
Benzthiazide
Chlorothiazide
Chlorthalidone
Cyclothiazide
Hydrochlorothiazide
Hydroflumethiazide
Methyclothiazide
Polythiazide
Trichlormethiazide
