piece of mind

piece of mind

Hi everyone, i am a 27 year old male, 5'11, 140lb no history of any problems. I had chest pains several months ago, long story short had an echo, received the results a few days ago- "The aortic root is dilated (3.9) with a normal calibre thoracic ascending aorta. The aortic valve is bicuspid with the opening running from 10 o'clock to 5 o'clock. There is a raphe to 2 o'clock. There is no restriction to aortic outflow but mild aortic regurgitation is identified."
Everything else is normal, "visually estimated ejection fraction is 60% to 65%"
This is all news to me, so needless to say i'm very worried about it at the moment.
The day after hearing this i started to get all kinds of chest pains.
I have an appointment with a cardiologist in 10 days. but my question is this...
i'm wondering if my constant worry and anxity and intent focus on this problem is causing these chest pains.
At the moment, i'm experencing what feels like gas in my lower left abdomen.
Could this be serious? Should i go to the emergency? Or am i just worrying myself 'to death' and i should wait for the 10 days to pass?
I'm very worried, these conditions all seem to have the potential to be serious. I need advice.
Thanks,
Jesse
