pill question

My friend went and got a prescription for some high blood pressure pills, and they were 10 mg, they said on the pill A on the front, and 22 on the other side, and it was pink and tiny.  The next time he went, he got a pill prescription again, same pill, and it was blue, and it was much larger, it said E72 on one side.  The pill was called LISINOPRIL, generic for PRINIVIL.  Does anyone know if they are the same pill?

They should be.  Ask the pharmacy......mine alway tells me on the package when a different company has been used.  Just call the pharmacist.  That is what he/she gets paid for.  There are so many different brands.  It should be accurate as labeled.

I take lisinopril and had a similar experience.  The pill size, color and shape can vary between manufacturers.  Go to the manufacturer's (usually printed on the bottle) website and search for pictures of the different products.  You can also google the words on the pills (E72, etc).

When I took lisopril 10mg, my pills were blue.  I've taken 5mg that were white, and others that were pink.  When that happens, I look them up for peace of mind.
