I am a a56 year old female, 5'6", weight 157.  I recently had a stress test and I don't understand the findings.  This is what I was told:  An area of decreased activity/profusion was noted involving the anterior wall and it shows reversal of normal activity on resting images consistent with ischemia.  Remainder of the left myocardium showed no significant focal abnormality.  Wall motion studies showed no significant findings.  Ejection fraction is within normal limits andit is 56%.  Normal is 50% or more.. Changes of anteior wall ischemia are noted.
The Echo showed normal, however I was told years ago I had a leaky mitral valve and the technician doing this recent echo said it was still leaking but it isn't listed in the echo report.  I am being sent to a cardiologist for possible and angiogram.  Could you please explain what this all means.
Thank you
