I recently took my son to the Dr & long story short they did an ekg that showed sinus bradycardia. His rate was 48. I took him for an echo & on the report it said "sinus bradycardia with dilated lv" his ekg said, sinus bradycardia with rate variation 48 - peaked anterior T-waves with early repolarization.

Thank you! Dilated cardiomyopathy is very heavy on my dad's side. That's what he pass from. I've been doing the research but not coming up with anything about size so thank you again!

Hi, There are three main types of cardiomyopathy, dilated, hypertrophic and restrictive. Cardiomyopathy makes it harder for the heart to pump and deliver blood to the rest of the body. Cardiomyopathy can lead to heart failure. It can be familial. The dilated left ventricle could be due to this, but he needs follow up to study this. LVPWd - Left Ventricular Posterior Wall (diastole); normal range 0.6-1.1 cm. The value for your daughter is raised, but this needs to be correlated with other findings. You will have to discuss with your doctor. Regards.
