sounds like anxiety medication like zanor psycologist hope you better soon
I have to agree. You're making yourself a nervous wreck over this obcession. You have a family, and they need you to be there for them, and this constant worry will kill you. See your doc about some meds to help you through this period, and start living your life with your family, instead of worrying it away. I know a lot of people who are benefiting from the "rubber band" therapy. Keep a rubber band on your wrist at all times. As soon as you start to worry, think something is wrong, getting nervous, snap the rubber band, and snap it hard, it has to sting. The first week you will feel like you are doing nothing but snapping this rubberband, and you probably are! But after a week of this, you will find yourself thinking more positively, and not having these thoughts. I didn't believe this would work for me, but it did. After the first week I noticed I wasn't snapping it much, nor was I having any of the worrisome thoughts I had before. I think the idea is to stop the thought with pain, and associate the thought with pain, and you just stop doing it. Worth a try, and may help you.
I have to agree as well, it sounds like anxiety. I know that it's a difficult diagnosis to accept as it can be hard to relate physical symptoms to something that is as simple as anxiety, but everything you describe is textbook health anxiety.
Bottom line, you are only 20 years old, the chances of you having CAD or anything significant wrong are EXTREMELY remote. Plus, as you stated, you have been checked out at the ER 6 times. They may miss something once, but not after 6 visits. Have you talked to your doctor about this fear? There are things he can offer to help you calm down.
Keep thinking positive thoughts, throw yourself into something you're passionate about and get you mind off your heart. It sounds easy I know, but if you don't take steps now this irrational fear will become part of your day to day life, you're too young to be worrying about your heart, go enjoy life!
See your doctor and relax. Trust their judgement.
Good luck!
Jon
Believe your doctors. I've had some anxiety issues of late and those are the symptoms. I'm with you in the frustration because relaxing and calming down is easier said than done. Search for anxiety and panic attacks in google. There are a lot of awesome groups out there with info to help. Knowing how common this is really helped me. Forums and advice is available. If your doctors say you don't have an issue with your heart then you don't, and that should give you some relief. Good Luck
