My dad, age 60 yrs had an heart attack last week and he is still in the ICU since that day.His heart beat, presuure and sugar is stable now though not perfect.currently for 3 days,he has fever which lowers down on antibiotics...but it props up as soon as high as 102.the effect of medicine is gone.We are a little worried...doctors its due to any kind of infection. they informed us yeasterday that small amount of fluid has accumulated in his lungs and around the heart.
Just wanted to inquire how risky the condition is?
Should we be worried??
