post op arm pain

by gallie, Dec 28, 2008 11:58AM
I had quadruple bypass surgery in August and have experienced pain in my righr upper arm ever since.
I know there was some sort of catheter inserted on the right side of my neck during my pre-op an dwondered if there could possibly be some nerve damage.
My pain occurs on movement and it is not in the joint but either in the upper bone of my arm or the muscle in my upper arm. Its hard to tell which.
Some times the pain is so bad I have to holler.
