post-op atrial ablation

post-op atrial ablation

Post-op catheterized atrial ablation, the operation was done in NZ 7 weeks ago. I am now in the UK and have no ready access to the surgeons who performed the operation. I will be returning to NZ at the end of June. I am experiencing occasional missed heart-beats, fluctuating blood-pressure, and pulse-rate, and accompanying dizziness. Not always, but this seems related to when I take exercise (walking). I am 71 years old. I am still on the drugs I was prescribed before the op, i.e.,flecainide (100/200mgs, alternating day-by-day), cardizem (120mgs daily), spironolactone (12.5 mgs, daily). I am also still on marevan. Is it usual to experience these effects in the circumstances? Might adjusting the medication assist me? Is delaying taking action, if any, reasonable?
