premedication antibiotics

by lez157, Sep 24, 2009 01:08PM
I went to a seminar years ago that stated if a patient needed antibiotic thereapy prior to any dental procedure and if they forgot to take the antibiotic there was a 2 hour window for them to take the antibiotic even after the procedure was started. I can not find any information on this however has spoken to a few collueges and they also remember this however I am looking for a website that will document this information.  Please forward any information to my email address.  I appreciate your time in this matter.(premed taken for either heart murmur, congential heart defects,  any joint replacements, etc.
Thank you
