prominent ascending aortic arch

prominent ascending aortic arch

I am a 47 year old female with a 3 yr history of progressive exertional shortness of breath. I have had elevated pulmonary pressures on echos (50) but two right heart catheterizations have been in the upper normal range. I saw a pulmonologist two weeks ago who had looked at my last chest xray and he said my heart "was a funny shape". He was going to talk to a cardiologist about it. He pointed to the ascending aorta and said it was quite prominent. Could this nothing or does it sound serious? I do have very well controlled high blood pressure. I usually run around 100/70.
