pulmonary bicuspid valve

my son (1 month) just had surgery on his heart. what he had was transposition with vsd and inverted coronary arteries. this has all been repaired however he still has a pulmonary bicuspid valve. what are the chances he will need more surgery and will this limit his activities and or diet?

No one can really predict. Potentially, nothing will need to be done in the future. If the valve develops significant leakage or tightening with time, it may need to be replaced. He will need periodic evaluation by his cardiologist to monitor for this.

Good afternoon,  My husband had an ECG tracing has alot of artifact and cannot be approperitly assesse.  2. LVDD is 5.7 with an ejection fraction measured at 66% by the M mode and the limited two dimennsional study appears to be possibly within normal limits. No obvious segmental wall motion abnormalities are identified.  Mild to moderate degree of LDH.  No abnormalities of LV out flow.  Transmitral flow pattern is abnormal. 3.  RV is not significantly dilated
