pulse in my wife's feet

pulse in my wife's feet

my wife has had chest pain and her ekg suggest that she has had a silent heart attack. her pulse in her feet is very week. she has had spinal fusion surgery in the past, and her feet are numb most of the time. does this mean she has a blockage in her heart?

She might have blockages in the arteries in her legs.  If you have coronary artery disease you are much more likely to have it in other arteries besides the heart.  Numb feet may be related or could be a neuropathy.  Is she diabetic?  Have her checked out thoroughly by a cardiologist.

Have they done any other testing to confirm the diagnosis of a "silent" heart attack?  I would think they would have at least done a nuclear stress echo.  I agree with Maggie, you need to get her thoroughly checked out by a cardiologist ASAP.  Good luck to you and your wife.
