Increasing a beta blocker is a reasonable approach for suppressing an abnormal amount of PVC's. While there is always a possibility of lowering the BP at the same time, it is often well tolerated. If you notice new symptoms such as fatigue, dizziness, or syncope, then discontinue the higher dose and speak to your physician.

I just had my beta blocker metaprolol increased from 25mg to 50mg for PVCs. It really made me feel tired. I had no energy to exercise or do anything. It had little effect on my BP though. Tell your dr if you don't feel right.

My EP is giving me Potassium supplement to help with the PVCs. Did you have your potassium and magnesium levels checked? A lot of people on here say a supplement can help. Good luck.
