reading of my stress test

I had a persantine stress test.  will you interpet the results?
impression:
1. Small reversible perfusion defect consistent with ischemic myocardium anteriorly in the left ventrical near the apex.  No perfusion defect is identified
2 LVEF is greater than 70%.

There is evidence of low blood flow in the apex (tip) of the heart.  It's a small defect and depending on who you ask and what your symptoms are, can be treated with medications or with a catheterization and potential stenting.  Of course, the thing that must be kept in mind, especially if you don;t have any symptoms, is that women often have what we call breast attenuation which can appear as small apical ischemia.  I can't tell you whether or not I would be suspicious for that in your case without seeing the actual stress test images.
