recovery time and solutions to chest pain?

My mum 54yrs old had her 4 arteries pinched and had bypass 4 months ago. she doesnt have breathing problems but her chest is painful and swollen, unable to sleep, feels something poking in the chest, her leg swells after she walks, burning sensations in the legs,she is diabetic takes insulin.she feels like she has fever. will ask more questions later bye and thanks

Most of these symptoms are common after bypass surgery except for fever.  This should be worked up further.  It will take her some time to recover and the chest pains and aches may stick around for up to 6-8 months.
