regression

I am 45, not overweight, but last check showed total cholesterol of 209 I with 156 LDL.  At that time I was on 20mg of Lipitor.  I am now on 40mg and have taken diet and exercise to a serious level.  I had angioplasty to open two 60% blockages in LAD seven weeks ago and continue to experience angina, although I believe it is less intense, during exercise.  I can relieve the angina by slowing my pace and after re-exerting and slowing a couple of times I can work through the angina and manage to exert pretty hard with minimal sensations.  The game plan is to do a stress test with radioisotopes six mos. after the procedure and if I fail go back for another cath.  I want very badly to avoid another angioplasty or bypass.  How likely is regression of blockage with new Lipitor dose plus rigid diet and exercise?  My goal is 75 LDL.  Am I wrong to continue exercise while
feeling the angina sensation?
Thank you for this forum.
