Raynauds does cause color changes - blue, white and red - due to vessel spasms. A Raynauds attack may be nothing more than a color change or it can be somewhat painful. There are a few medications (often calcium channel blockers) that are given to help with the attacks. If this particular medication is making her that sick, talk to the doctors and they may be able to switch her to a slightly different CCB.

Your sister may have to see a rheumatologist as well to see whether the Raynauds is primary or secondary. Some people with Raynauds find out they also have some kind of auto-immune problem like rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, scleroderma, etc. But only her doctor can test for that.
